anapeksah sucir daksha udasino gata-vyathah
sarvarambha-parityagi yo mad-bhaktah sa me priyah

yo na hrsyati na dvesti na socati na kanksati
subhasubha-parityagi bhaktiman yah sa me priyah

TRANSLATION

One who trust God and do no keep hope on anything else, who is pious, is skilful, is sad of all unfavorable (evil) acts, unconcerned, who has renounced performing all evil (ill-boding) actions and show veneration to Me, is very dear to Me. One who neither celebrates nor hates, neither grieves nor desires of unattained thing, and who renounces both favorable and unfavorable things. Such a devotee is very dear to Me.
